The Center for College Student Success officially launched in 2015-2016 as a new resource for undergraduate students. The Center, or CCSS as it is known, serves students in the College and especially aims to support and celebrate those students who are first in their family to attend college, come from under-resourced backgrounds, or who may be undocumented, DACAmented, or have mixed status families. The Center for College Student Success is founded on three pillars: Advising, Resources, and Support.
Advisers in CCSS strive to help students navigate campus resources and foster an inclusive and supportive campus community that facilitates student success.
CCSS Student Advisory Board The CCSS Student Advisory Board is comprised of ten students in the College; two representatives from each class year, and one each representing the Socioeconomic Diversity Alliance and the Quest Scholars Network. The Board works closely with CCSS advisers to identify areas of interest or concern and to plan programming to help address them.
